Common questions

An alarm didn't ring

Turn on Alarm for the medicine (open the medicine, then Edit), allow alarms when iOS asks, and check Settings › Alarms ring on silent in Daydose. Reminders also need notifications allowed in the iPhone's Settings › Daydose.

A caregiver doesn't see new doses

Both iPhones need the internet and iCloud. Caregivers join through the link you send from Family › Invite a caregiver. Open Family on the caregiver's iPhone to refresh.

Simple mode for a parent

On your parent's iPhone, open Settings › Simple mode. It shows one medicine at a time with a big Taken button and a button to call you.

A new iPhone

Daydose is yours with your Apple Account: download it again on the new iPhone at no cost. Bring your data with Settings › Back up and restore.

Delete my data

Settings › Privacy and data › Delete all data removes everything from the iPhone and from iCloud.

Daydose is a reminder, not medical advice. Doses and schedules follow your doctor or pharmacist.
