Daydose Privacy Policy

Updated November 1, 2026

Your medicines, doses and readings stay on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud only when you invite caregivers. The developer never receives them. To count purchases and active users, the app sends a few technical details listed below. No account, no ads, no tracking, and we never sell data.

What you record

Names of the people you care for, their medicines, schedules, taken doses, stock, and readings such as blood pressure, blood sugar and weight. You can add notes, meal times, a phone number and a photo of a medicine. All of it is health data.

Photos come only from the camera or photos you pick yourself.

Where it's kept

On your iPhone. If you invite caregivers, the shared records are also kept in your iCloud (Apple's CloudKit) and are visible only to the people you invite. If you join someone else's family, what you record is kept in the iCloud of the person who invited you.

Apple stores and transfers this data under the Apple Privacy Policy. As the developer, we cannot see the contents of your iCloud.

App statistics

While the app is open, it sends our server a random install code, when the app was first opened, the app and iOS version, your App Store country, and Apple's signed proof of purchase. We use this only to count purchases and active users.

It never includes names, medicines, doses, readings, notes or photos.

What we don't collect

No account, email address or phone number of yours. No advertising identifier, no ads and no tracking across apps or websites. No location or contacts.

Reminders and alarms

Notifications and alarms are scheduled on your iPhone. Caregivers' missed-dose alerts are scheduled on their iPhone and travel through iCloud, not through our server.

Your choices

Download all your data at any time in Settings › Privacy and data. Delete all data removes it from your iPhone and from iCloud; you can also stop sharing or leave a family whenever you like.

You agree to keep health data on your iPhone and in your iCloud when you start. Withdraw that consent at any time with Delete all data. To have app statistics about your purchase deleted, email us.

Not medical advice

Daydose is a reminder. Doses and schedules follow your doctor or pharmacist.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
